Are "Bear Paws" Vegan?

If you don't know what "Bear Paws" are, they are shoes that look like Uggs, only they are fake. I was wondering if they contained any animal parts. I don't think they're made with real leather, but I'm not sure. Please help?

  1. Allgravi, that's a bear CLAW not a bear PAW, genius. And I'd check on the inside of the shoe, or go on the website and look.

  2. What style are you looking at? I just did a quick Google search for the brand and all the styles that show up are labeled as suede, leather, sheepskin, or rabbit fur. I didn't see anything that weren't labeled with a material like that. So if those are the only styles this company makes, I would have to say no, they are not vegan because they are made from animal skin or fur. If there are other styles that I'm not seeing, there may be some that aren't made with those materials. But in general, shoes have to be labeled with what they are made of and if they are made of any animal-derived material, the companies are usually proud to label them as such since the shoes will usually sell for a lot more if they are leather and not, say, pleather.

  3. Shoes have to be labeled for the materials they are made with.  Look at the tag; it will say it they are made with all man-made materials or with leather, sheepskin, wool, etc...

  4. They are a pastry and it depends on what someone put in them but probably not.
