  1. Not really. There is enough salt in their pellets.

  2. Hi no rabbits don't really need a salt block,as long as the mix/pellets you are giving him are nutritionally balanced then their fine! Salt blocks are often doing more bad than good! Its more to make us people feel like we care! Though if you really feel the need to get one most pet shops sell them if you can't find it just ask one of the staff. Im not sure where you live,so i can't really answer that but i live in the uk and pets at home, sell them. Hope this helps.

  3. It's optional actually but i would reccomend it because it's good for their health and keeps their teeth the right length lol.

    No particular season

You can probably get one from a pet store or get a reccomened supplier from your vet.

Gl hope your bunny enjoys it!

  4. Mine used to love it....you can get them at the pet store, and just don't give them too often cause of the same reasons people shouldn't be eating too much salt.

  5. umm if you want it is best cuz there teeth never stop growing same with horse molers and guinea pigs and that grinds down there teeth and it keeps them from getting rilly sharp. so save you guinea pigs life and dont let his teeth get so big he cant close his mouth

  6. They do sell miniature salt licks for small animals at pet stores, Walmart, Tractor Supply, etc.

If you want one, feel free to give one to your rabbit. However, I've been searching for awhile now for information on salt licks and I can't find anything about them. I've been raising rabbits for over 7 years, I've never needed one, I've never met any other breeders who use them, and no one has ever been able to give me a good reason to use them.

So for that reason, I just feed a nutritionally balanced rabbit pellet and not worry about the salt. I don't think it would hurt the rabbit, but I see no reason for them either, you know?

Anyway, it's really up to you!

  7. Aren't salt licks for cows?  What're you talking about when you say "What seasons?"?  Try a farming store.
