Are red fire ants in new hampshire?

I was messing with a little ant hill and the ants were really small and red or brown im worried i might get sick HELP!

I don't think so , they might hitch a ride from some unexpected north bound traveler, but they would have to have a warm place to live in the winter..

If you are itchy you were probably bitten.  Go pick up some Burt's Bees Bug Bite Releif.  Use the Burt's Bees and keep an eye on the bites.  If you do not notice a differnce within a couple of days I would make a doctors appointment.
