  1. renault scenics are ok but seriously underpowered with a 1400cc engine, go for a 1.6 at least.       You really need to test drive one as they are an acquired taste and not everybodies ideal vehicle.  but if you got a load of packages/kids/stuff  its great

  2. I have owned several Renaults, my last being a 2.0 litre Scenic automatic, fantastic mpv but i feel that the 1.4 is far to underpowered for the size of this vehicle, would suggest a minimum of 1.6.

  3. I have nothing against french people however french cars are notoriously known for being badly built and unreliable.

  4. they are expensive to repair.  need lots of special tools, so lots of the repairs really need to be done by a dealer.

i don't know what country you're in but in australia parts are expensive and take ages to get here from france, but if you're in europe it shouldn't be a problem.

take one for a drive-  i personally hate them.  bad driving position, gutless, pedals too close together.....

but some people like them, so take one for a drive.
