Question:

Are republicans more likely to site current situations when making an argument?

I notice that many people will refer to history as if, it is exactly what we are experiencing today. Even when referring to things such as laws, even though laws have changed. Or, use the classic 'what if'. Well, what if leaves a lot open for interpretation and really, there is no reality in 'what if' land.

I notice this mostly from the left, is that what other people have noticed or am I being biased in my observation?

  3. No.  You talk about republicans and democrats like they are a tribe or different races or something.  Everyone is different and does different things.
