Are resorts in the Dominican g*y friendly?

my partner and I are planning a trip for next april and were wondering if the resorts were g*y friendly, from what i have been reading, it doesnt sound very encouraging. We dont really plan on leaving the resort or anything like that, i'm just wondering about the resorts themselves.

g*y life is still in the closet there. You will have no problem if you don't show the part in public, but g*y or straight open affection in public is not shown. Don't get me wrong they like to flirt. I checked this out on the web and there is a resort or two on the northern part. I stayed in Punta Cana and it was great and you could go there and have a great time, you can go about your business and nobody interfiers. Now go and enjoy yourself.
