Are rich people superior to poor people?

If so, does wealth alone make one superior? Does it matter whether one's wealth is earned, stolen or inherited? Is a poor person who works hard, but aspires only to a modest middle class lifestyle a bad or deficient person? Why?

  1. Wealth doesn't make anyone better than the other. I think in the end it all comes down to how you respect other people, whether you are humble or not, and what you have done to help others. In my opinion, there are a few rich people who are humble, respectful and helpful towards the poor in this world. Wealth can bring arrogance, not many genuine friends etc. Poor people understand the value of money and know what it's like to work hard. I guess if a poor person goes from rags to riches from hard work, but chooses to live a modest lifestyle, it doesn't make them a bad person because you don't want to be the person who flaunts your money and material possessions. Choosing to live a modest lifestyle shows they are humble. Hope this helps.
