Yes! i went on my birthday last year and little did i know the mummy ride was closed! so everytime i go, i call the guest relations office and ask them if any of the rides are scheduled to be closed...you should do that because it would suck if a ride was closed since their arent that many there hope i helped =]

Park info can be found by calling 1-800-UNIVERSAL (according to the website). InsideUniversal.net sometimes posts ride closures, but they haven't updated it lately. If you arrive at the park before calling guest relations for ride information, there are small blue signs on the entrance pillars listing park hours and any rides that are closed for the day.

Most attractions close down for maintenance during the off-peak season, which is in the fall-winter period. They are usually down for about a week. Backdraft is the attraction that sees the most maintenance.

During the summer, expect the park to operate at full capacity.
