  1. I don't think the Phillies have the prospects and the Rockies will probably deal him next year when his contact expires.

  2. The Phillies traded their #2 and #4 prospects for Joe Blanton. Unless they give up #1, they aren't getting Holliday.

  3. i think the rockies are smart to field offers for holliday now, but it would probably be easier for them to hold onto him until next year...there are lots of rumors flying around but i don't know that any interested team can really give the rockies what they want for him

  4. I think the Phillies would be dumb to make this trade.  They don't need more offense, they need more pitching.  Holliday would not make them any better.  From the Rockies perspective it would be a great trade, Holliday outside Coors is mediocre at best and if they could get some good prospects and maybe a veteran in return for him they'd get a steal.

  5. Them and the Phillies almost had a trade worked out that would send 3 prosepcts and Shane Victorino to Colorado for Fuentes and Holliday, but the Phillies said no...I think they should just leave Fuentes out of it and just trade for Holliday, but i doubt we'll do anything.

  6. I would think so.

  7. With Scott Boras as his agent, Holliday's contract ending next year will put him on the open market with little chance of returning to Colorado.  If they want any value for him, they need to get it in the next year and a half.

But, with the team on the verge of contending in the weak, weak, west it is very unlikely that they will move him this year.

  8. I dont think they are trading him...I think they are still gonna make a push because they are only 7 games back

  9. The phillies dont need him they already got a left fielder

  10. Maybe
