  1. you can have split or others you just need to look

  2. think it's your preference.  i always tied mine in a knot at the length needed for the rider.  i finally got a single rein for just me and i've never roped.  ride bareback.

  3. Yes. Kinda tough to work spit reins and throw a rope, gather slack, dally all at once. So to answer you shortly Yes they are single reins.

  4. A roper rein is one continuous rein ,usually just long enough to hook over the saddle horn. Most of them are snap ons.

  5. It's a single rein........Comes in a smooth finish, braided finish or made from parachute cord.    What's your preference?

  6. Roping reins are also called round reins, racing rains, roping rains...they are all the same....they are not split reins, they are all one piece.

  7. yes roping reins are single reins.

Funny story, one time I was roping with split reins with a knot in them because my roping reins got broke and I went to dally and I accidently dallied my reins instead of my slack and when my horse set back it just ripped the rest of the rope out of my hand... I hade a pretty good rope burn. Well thats my kinda funny story!
