They're not rumors, its true.  The government is going to send everyone $1200 / week. That way, we won't have to drive to work and waste gas and add carbon dioxide to the atmosphere. Washington will solve the energy crisis and global warming in 3 months. Really. No....REALLY !!

United States Department of Treasury (IRS) News Release: June 13, 2008.

• Due to a very significant increase in food and oil prices, President Bush

has instructed the Department of Treasury to issue a second Stimulus

refund check in the amount no greater than 50% of the approved

Economic Stimulus package.

• Average refund will be between $600 for a married couple, $300 for

individuals, and $150 for each child.
