  1. San Hunter/Gatherers, more commonly known as "Bushmen", are the oldest continuous culture on earth, dating back at least 15,000 years...

These click-speaking people are predominantly Blood Type "O", which means they have little, or no need, for dairy products or bread in their diet, and probably never domesticated hoofed animals...

The herding of hoofed livestock originated in the area of Mesopotamia, within the past 10,000 years...

  2. dun know

  3. Hunter gathering is the natural state of Homo sapian sapian.

There maybe no evidence to say that the San hunter-gather are just a group of Little BO Peeps, however if you think about a couple things may be the answer will seem obvious. These people live in a place were they don't need many clothing items, the spend around 3 hours a day doing what we would call work and the rest of the time in social activities, as everything they need can be found just lying around.  Instead herding involves real work and long days with responsibility. This in turn brings the concept of ownership which brings hierarchy, and this means that someone is the Boss! These people are truly happy, so why look for problems if they don't need to!

Try watching the film 'The gods must be crazy'. and then ask yourself if may it's us who are a little mad!

  4. no... hunter-gathers usually don't have the socio-cultural practices and environment to be full time pastoralists... many of them naturally practice it.. however don't require the benefits of pastorialism due to their immediate environment i.e. abundant resources

  5. No. they are just hunter-gatherers, they have never been pastoralists.
