  1. They are also known as SPRING ONIONS or GREEN ONIONS, usually next to the leeks.  They are usually kept by the other greens/herbs under the mister and not by the regular onion & potato section.

You should ask the produce manager in your store, they are readily available everywhere.  If not, you can grow them yourself --- it's easy & you dont need a green thumb!  The seeds are available in the Target or Walmart garden section and are dirt cheap.  You can grown them in a window box or garden pot, they dont even need a garden patch!

  2. They are also called green onions or spring onions.

  3. Scallions = Green Onions.  They are one and the same, just a different name.

Similar to Cilantro = Chinese Parsley = Coriander

  4. Look for green onions.

  5. Sure they do.  They are also called green onions.  They have long green "tails" and a small white bulb.  Sold in bunches of 8-10 for about $1

  6. They are in Ga.

  7. Try calling them green onions.

  8. Scallions = green onion = spring onions...they should be readily available in your average grocer's produce section.  Where do you shop?

  9. The larger chain markets should. The reason your store doesn't carry them is probably there isn't much demand for them normally. They're a type of a mild onion.

You can substitute green onions for them.
