Public schools....would not be open as this is a federal holiday.

Private schools and more company oriented schools are generally to take this day off and "close" because it is a federal holiday and the workers get paid based on a contract that honors at least 7 federal holidays, 8 if they had a great union negotiator.

I think No... cause on labor day everything is closed... on places of refreshment and recreation are opened...
