Are science and technology humanity's "saviour" and a "substitute" for religion?

No. It was the same science that gave us computers to enslave us, pollution and the so-called "Global Warming" and the nuclear weapons to destroy us at any moment. And yet we see plenty of "idiots" worshipping science and technology as "new saviours" of humanity. Including prominents scientists [a guy named Andrei Sakharov was one of them: he gave the hydrogen bomb to Stalin] and other "humanists" idiots. Really, human intellect can make people dumb. Feedback, please. [So what I am using a computer to write my attacks? HA!]

  2. Yes and no.  ANYTHING can be a religion.  Science can be a religion.  It's about priorities and values.  I know some who worship football or golf.  Again, ANYTHING can be a religion.

  3. Science is knowledge, and religion is primitive ignorance. You point out flaws in one while ignboring them in the other. That proves nothing at all and wastes everyone's time.
