in my english class we can make a colonial food (since we are learning about puritans and things like that) for extra credit.

I wanted to make scones but I'm not sure if they are a colonial food,

are they?

  1. I'll defer to Dan on this one, but I did find this site....tons of links to colonial recipes!

  2. Scones are a Scottish food. The early colonists probably made them, as they are made with common ingredients and are easy to make. So, have at it. Good choice.

  3. Here in the colonies, scones for morning tea are the law!
