Are sea snakes endangered animals?

I'm working on a project and i need endangered animals.

A site that tells about endangered sea snakes would help.

  1. It is thought that sea snakes evolved from their land based counterparts in Australia long ago.  Thus it's not surprising that 32 different types of sea snakes live in the waters surrounding here.

    A recent report compiled by several Australian conservation organizations (see second link below) indicates that a number of the regions sea snakes appear "vulnerable" if not already headed for the endangered list.

    Some of those populations thought to be in trouble include: the spiny-headed, olive, and turtle headed sea snakes.


  2. No. Populations seem to be fairly stable.

  3. Some species esp in NSW Australia are threatened , their populations are in the decline.

  4. / I found a few websites, but sea snakes weren't listed as endangered.
