ohhh yeah, not only are theyt salt water, which is difficult to begin with, you also need to do 'target' feeding.... there also very dlicate, not exactly beginner fish but with a few years of sucessfull salt water you should be good i guess IF  ya have it=]

they do need allot of special food,you will need to clean and make the water a nice special salty water for the seahorses.You may need more than a 100gal fish tank just for a few sea horses.they can be very expensive.

Yes.  They require very clean water and live foods.  Generally, they need to be kept in a seahorse only tank, and food available at all times.  Brines shrimp is best for this, as they will live in the tank for a long time.  Ohter fish would be too much competition for them.

Yes they are very high maintenance pets and need expert care. But I think it's best if you don't keep seahorses as they are wild animals and should be in the wild.
