Are seedings now uniform for all or just for the Top 10?

With Wimbledon on our heels, what can we expect the seedings to look like this year with Venus in the Top 10 will this grant her the number 1 seed?

I doubt Venus will be seeded higher than #4, and most likely not even that high.  True, she is the defending champion, but this year her record isn't that great, and although she's ranked #7, I don't think the Wimbledon seeding committee will take such a huge liberty as to bypass the top players to make Venus the top seed.  It's just not going to happen.  Ivanovic will be the top seed, and she deserves it this year.

She definitely will not get the #1 seed. Possibly she will receive what she is ranked or one or two numbers higher. I remember though last year when she won she was ranked 31 but seeded in the 20's so they might seat her higher this year, but not #1.
