  1. YOU WILL ONLY GET TO DRAW UNEMPLOYMENT FROM YOUR HOME OF RECORD. IF FL IS YOUR HOC THEN YOU WILL GET ABOUT THREE OR FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS A WEEK. AS SOON AS YOU GET HOME, GO TO YOUR UNEMPLOYMENT OFFICE AND FILE FOR IT. IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN, YOU WILL GET MORE, PLUS YOU CAN SIGN UP FOR FOOD STAMPS. ALSO YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DRAW THE UNEMPLOYMENT FOR 6 MONTHS. ALSO WHILE DRAWING UNEMPLOYMENT IN MOST STATES, THERE ARE MANDATORY CLASSES, AND IF YOU MISS THEM, YOU WONT GET YOUR MONEY FOR THAT WEEK.

  2. The military sends you back to your "home of record," that would be your official address when you entered the military.  Unless you changed your home of record during your service, it is where you originally joined from.  If that home of record is Florida, then your eligible to get your job back, that you had prior to your enlistment, if they are not hiring, then you rate unemployment.  If  Florida is your home of record then you would file there, if it is some other state, you would file in that state, but could live in Florida looking for work.  Most unemployment offices are located on line and allow you to file on line or phone in.
