Are sexual predators beyond rehabilitation?

Question

I've been watching some of the episodes of "to Catch A Predator", and almost everyone that have written comments regarding this series are praising it because it helps raise awareness and because it have helped put some of these men behind bars.

But is it really necessary to put pictures and personal information out for the public to out these men? By doing so, we're really saying that they are beyond rehabilitation and the possibility to return to society, but are they?
