i dont think there's ANY way to make a shar pei a good looking dog.... much less by creating a shar pei mutt! so, yes... i think a shar pei mutt would be a bad looking dog

Aesthetics is purely a matter of personal taste.  Personally I think Shar pei, english bulldogs, and pugs are all hideous from a purely aesthetic standpoint (many of them do have lovely temperaments though) but lots of people find them adorable.  So would I think that a shar pei/lab mix is a "bad looking" dog?  Probably.  But then again, what does it matter to you what I think if you like that type of dog?

Not at all!  They look like "baggy" labs as pups, but the wrinkles usually decrease as they get older.  So, you kinda get a shar pei puppy that grows into a lab adult!

Uh you mean a shar pei black lab hybrid? I don't want to think about such a thing. Nothing against either of the breeds but not a nice mix.
