Are shopping malls open in Cairo Egypt during Ramadan?

are the larger shopping malls like city stars and carrefour open during ramadan? If so, do you know what the opening and closing hours are.

Yes they are opened until Breakfast time. And they re-open after Breakfast time.

Also, restaurants are open throughout the whole day.

The reason for this is that The Egyptian Government and people respect the Non-Muslim residents.

Yes they will.  Usually the shops will open at 11:00 am and close during Iftar and then they will resume again about an hour after Iftar till midnight.  The restaurants will stay longer as they will offer Sohour.

Yes. Some shops actually have longer hours, but most will closely briefly at the time of breaking the fast, then reopen, after people have had a chance to eat and drink. There's some other dates coming up to bear in mind as well, regarding public holidays. See below for more:

of course they open during Ramadan till one hour before break-fasting,, and resume working again except the restaurants which will still be opened during the break fasting...
