Are shorter swim trunks coming back in style for guys?

I was just wondering if trunks shorter than the typical board shorts (at the knee or longer) are coming back in, because I've seen it on TV more often. I was wondering because I need new swim trunks and wanted something new.

The board shorts still seem to be the most popular, but I also have noticed that swim trunks and square cuts are being seen more frequently.  I find it funny that back in the 50's the swimsuits for guys were more shorter and tighter - like a square cut and today they are loose and below the knee length.  What happened?

the longer ones are still more popular amongst teenage boys but older guys in their twenties are starting to shift towards the shorter ones mostly  for the ladies

still not speedos though

unless they are competitive swimmers but mostly they dont wear those out so hope i helped good luck

Try the tight lycra shorts like daniel craig wore as james bond. they are less revealing than speedos but still look hot on most guys whatever their age. hope you get what you want. p.s. i hate baggy long shorts on myself or other guys.

Hopefully. I'm tired of only finding capri pants for guys that pass as shorts and swimwear. There is nothing wrong with showing some thigh if you are a guy. Maybe the fashionistas finallt realized that a tan below the knee only isn't so cool after all.
