Are single cab trucks faster or more fuel efficient than something like a crew cab

dont give me any c**p like well it depends on the engine and all that, lets just say everything is the same except the cabs

  1. Yep, because it weighs less!


  2. only the weight will make a difference

    on the single cab the mpg will be a little better but  i would be suprized if it increased .5 mpg

    on speed, if u raced them on a 1/4 mile it would be down to the drivers reaction to determine the winner

    over all it does do better but not enough to notice  

  3. No c**p - If all else is the same, including the bed length, the standard cab model is bound to use less fuel, because it weighs less.
