I'm trying to do the Green Thing and it's surprising how much they can add to the landfill. Thanks for your help. Love you.

  1. ...Check the can...

  2. There's usually a symbol on cans or any kind of recycable product. But I would assume it is recycable sheet metal. Depending on where you live you should check out how to dispose of it properly.

  3. I think they're steel, which is also recyclable, but check the label. It should say.

  4. if you want to go green with your pet.. you will buy larger cats.. not single serving size.. which by the way is a marketing scam.. a cat should only have 1 teaspoon of canned food per feeding.. and dry all the time..

you can mix the canned food with water to improve urinary tract health..

  5. As a recyce plant supevisor, specialising in the recycling of metals of all types, i cantell you that the cans are mde of steel. Irregardless of what metal can recycling bank you put them in, the local recycling amenity should have a sepeation method, I personally have a team of 4 men who seperate trash as it comes along a conveyor belt and put it ALL into seperate containers, which is then recycled in differing manners. All metals (except non ferris- copper, alluminium, zinc ect) are picked up by a magnet and carried of to another  container where it is sent for scrap vaue, your tins would be recycled in one way or another, dependant on material

  6. See if a small magnate will stick to it. If it does, it's a "tin" (steel) can.  If it doesn't, it's aluminum and can be recycled with aluminum cans, sardine cans, vienna sausage cans, spam cans, etc.
