Are sites that offer dicounted travel worth it?

the site i am looking into is freeustravel.com. it claims that by becoming a member i can take a vacation and only pay taxes and other small fees. has anyone else used this site or anything similar? what were the results?

I don't know about that one, but I'd stick with the known sites, Travelocity, Hotwire, Priceline.....those guys are legitimate businesses and they have good deals usually.

in life you get what you pay for. if you want to go away for 7 days and only pay a pittance, you will get rat infested, dirty swimming pool, and bad location. what do you expect?

Most of these sites are scams. With the rising cost of fuel the price to go on a cruise is going up. If these sites on the web truely offered a free cruis just to sign up for something then they wouldnt be in business for very long as there would be thousands of people signing up for there service or product and after the cruise dumping it.
