  1. It breaks my heart that you didn't believe me ='[

Lol jk, but yea Skittles are nasty =P

  2. gelatin.

some vegetarians eat it. some dont.

its also in all the pop tarts with frosting...

    and a lot of candies.

  3. They have gelatin so they are not vegetarian.  No vegetarian eats gelatin on purpose and they are not make from hooves!  It  is extracted from the collagen inside animals' connective tissue.

Many yogurt brands have it as well.  Read your labels.

  4. They have gelatin in them, which has cow hooves in it. So no, you can't eat them.

  5. Yeah. I'm a vegetarian, and in 4th grade I won some Skittles and was eating them. And then I looked at the ingredients and saw that there was gelatin in them and I spit out all the Skittles that were in my mouth. :-) Gelatin is made from mashed up cow's skin, cartilage, and bones, so Skittles and other stuff like most marshmallows are non-vegetarian. Some other things that have gelatin are Jell-O (regular jelly like on PB & J is vegetarian), poptarts that have frosting, and most cereals (like Lucky Charms and Count Chocula) with marshmallows in them. :-) If you want to learn more about hidden animal products like gelatin, just give the link below a click:

  6. Ok, skittles have no meat. Therefore, they are vegetarian. I am a vegetarian and i eat no meat, never have, and i eat skittles. Its probably some crazy rumor like bull pee in energy drinks.

  7. Skittles has gelatin in it which is made from Cow hoovs if I'm correct.  Some vegetarians eat them and some don't basically.  Personally, I'd eat them but I'm non-vegetarian I'm like a meatetarian (a junk food junkie lol)

  8. They also contain natural flavors, which don't have to be identified and almost always come from egg or protein product.

  9. Well it has gelatin and some veggies choose to eat it other don't but I defiantly can't have any cause i'm veg@n!

  10. Skittles contain gelatin from dead animals. ALL gelatin is slaughter byproduct which means that vegetarians do not eat it.

This is actually kinda funny because you can be considered vegetarian while consuming dairy and eggs that contribute to a great deal of suffering but you can't eat gelatin that contributes to no suffering.

  11. no they are not vegeitarian, as the other answerers have said theyve got gelatin in them

i beleive that is made of cow hooves or bones or something like that, look it up if youd really like to know

some people say they are vegitarians and eat foods with gelatin, or other animal products in them, this really annoys me because theyre just lying to themselves (and everyone else, i suppose)

heres a list of other ingredients which are not vegan, you can skim through and pick out the non-vegetarian ones you want to avoid, if youd like

the things that come to mind right now that also have gelatin in them are

poptarts (only the unfrosted ones are vegitarian, and vegan)

    some marshmellows

    frosted mini wheats

    some cheeses (like american)

some yugurts (ussually the low fat ones)

    most chewy candies

    some gums

    cereals with marshmellows

well thats all i can think of right now

  12. Seriously..  why would you go to a healthier diet to eat processed garbage like this..  whether it has gelatin or not
