Are skullcandy sk pros good...sound quality, comfort etc.?

  1. Even though this is in the wrong section, ill answer anyway since I'm an aspiring audiophile.

    Please remember that this is all based on my taste in sound and ill keep it as unbiased as possible.

    I don't know how much you know about sound frequencies, ranges and such but ill try to keep it simple just in case. Skullcandy has Great 'phones when it comes to build quality and looks, however they do lack in sound quality. They have a very bassy sound, almost muddy kinda, that takes away from the highs and mids. The mids (what is being said) are hard to hear because of this. I have sennheiser px100s (cheap 50 buck 'phones) and i would take them over skullcandy anyday, wider range, not bass heavy unless EQed, etc.

    skullcandys are pretty d**n comfortable though. They have a nice cushion that allows less sound through to your ear so they're almost like noise canceling.
