NAW, not in Illinois....

They roam in Texas & Georgia swamps, from what I have heard...

kinda smelly I have also heard.!!

Not many here in Texas. Most are found in florida and Louisiana with a couple having roamed up to Oklahoma.

Best thing to do is hide your apples and keep the doors latched.

Surely not in Oregon! Also, skunk apes are unconfirmed, which means that they are a cryptid.

They're not much of a problem anywhere since nobody seems to be able to confirm their existence.  I live in Washington state, a hot bed of bigfoot and sasquach activity, but nothing compelling has surfaced/
