nope...  they hear just fine.  They arent exactly ..aa...  mm..  astute, tho.

  Skunks are primarily interested in insects, smale rodents, some vegitables, crustations, that sort of thing... hearing plays a large part in how well they forage.

   Smell is important too, regardless that the oder they emmit will numb the nasal passages of a grizly bear!!

Why do you ask?  Did you honk at one, it didn't move, then you hit it??  They definitely are not deaf.  They hear very well!  If you are lucky enough to have one as a pet, you will see they are just like a dog and will come to you when called.
