  9. Nope, leeches. Nasty little things. I know cause I was covered in a few, once.

    People use them to draw out impure blood, or blood with contaminants in it. It's been a technique in use for several hundred years, but I've never had it performed.

    You can place them anywhere on the body, and they will begin sucking blood. When they bite, they use a chemical that dulls pain in the area so the host doesn't notice that his blood is being sucked out by a large black worm. No one likes that.

    I don't, at least.
