  1. Most small business accounts are placed within the owners name, or a D.B.A account.  Which in turn is considered a personal account.

    You must first make sure that the banking institution has FDIC insurance.  Most brokerages do not, they have SIPC insurance.  The difference is that FDIC is federally insured.  **** is insured by an outside company.

    Just my opinion though.
