I bought them to feed a baby bird that i WAS gong to rescue. So now i have a container full of worms in my frig. I rinsed one off and dropped it in my tank. lol. To see if my barbs or gouramis would enjoy somethin different, thinking that well fishermen use them to catch fish so why not? well, the worm hit the ground and went into my crushed coral sub before the barbs realized the feast they could of had.lol. whata u guys think?

  1. To feed the large fish yes, but they live above land normally, so just to live there, no.

  2. ha ha, good idea, i feed them to my newts. I usually feed them crickets but they love the worms. they'll eat them till they puke(its happened before) But i would find that worm before its starts to rot. If you don't have big fish, don't bother with the worms. they probably not gana know what to do with it. try dangling it from the surface so they have a chance to see it and then go from there. Ive feed rickets to my tiger barbs once, they snatched it as soon as i put it into the water, ill have to try worms tomorrow.

  3. For large fish its fine. Been there and done that for my pirahna. Smaller they will pick it apart later but it could cloud up the tank like any decaying meat lying there would. If you can clean it up before it gets to bad it can't hurt to try. If you see it getting slightly cloudy just pull the worm and filtration will take care of the mess.

  4. not too many at one time - make sure the fish can eat them right away

  5. ive done it before, but i have africans....
