Yeah, it depends of the type of snake.  Some snakes are immune to the venom of other snakes, while others are not.  If it is a type of snake that eats other snakes, then generally they will be immune to the venom.  The Kingsnake is an example of this.  It is not a venomous snake, but it eats other snakes and is immune to snake venom.
