Are snowskate shoes worth it?

I usually use regular boots with my snowskate, but I just saw some snowskate shoes on the internet. I was wondering if anyone has them and if they're really worth buying.

My friend has Vans snowskate shoes. He said they have some anti baterical material in the shoe so they don't smell from sweat. The grip is great on them,  they keep your feet warm, and look pretty good. But I prefer my Nike SB shoes.
