Are soccer gambling odds stacked against you?

I always thought that winning lottery and casino odds were bad. Are soccer odds the same? How about Asian handicaps

All odds are stacked against you.  There has to be some kind of house edge or the house would go out of business.

All gambling is biased towards the casinos and betting shops.  In the long term you will always lose.

The only exception is a skill based game like poker where the house doesn't care who wins or loses.  They just take a slice of the action.
