Are some people just lucky in life?

There are some people who seem to be getting a whole lot more out of life than we are...

Except, when you dig deeper, it's clear that their happiness doesn't come from luck, and external factors, it comes from themselves.

The most positive and mentally strong person I know is my grandmother. Both of her parents, and her younger sister died when she was young, and she spent most of her childhood in boarding school. But she's experienced a lot, is confident and assertive, and seems a lot more fulfilled than most.

I think we make our own luck.

I would like to say its "attitude and outlook"

But I have the worst of luck! I am always the one person that the teacher see's doing something wrong, when rarely I ever do anything wrong.

I'm the lame person that is going to classes, my bag breaks open and I have to pick everything up. Then I show up to class late, explain what happened, and get hit with the "I've heard that one before, go see the Dean."

Always the one that is gone when the family decides to order take-out.

Whenever I take the time to look good, the weather tends to go astray and ruin my hair or I end up spilling diet coke or coffee on my shirt.

-I attempt to stay posotive and say stuff like, "It's okay, in the long run...good things will come to me."

So far....not so much. I get the huge zitsz before the dates, my dress gets caught in my underwear, I have something on my face.

So I am going to go with, " Some people are just f*cking unlucky!

Personally i think some people are just lucky in life. Others no matter how they try just don't seem to have any luck.

I think its all about attitude and outlook and how you handle the good and bad experiences of life along the way!

I think if people took a bit more responsibility for their actions life would be easier, as those who are more responsible can see how their actions directly affect themselves and others.

I DO however think that some people just dont seem to have any luck at all no matter what they do!

Yeah, I guess... And also the paths they choose in life. Or they are just always happy because of their attitudes. Either one, it's the same really. I guess it depends on one another to make life better. If you're happy and law-abiding, things are going to look pretty for you. Well, that's what I think and it has been working for me. (:

IMHO some people have it, some don't, period.  Myself, I've always been on the losing side of life.  Never won ANYTHING (except those scam e-mails!) and do have a upbeat outlook on life.  Yet, I have friends that could step in horses**t and come out with a $100 bill on their shoe!   (Yet I couldn't find a corroded penny in a drain pipe!)

Life is just funny that way.  My father always told me "it takes all kinds of people to make the world turn."  I ask, "how would we know what good luck was, if some of us didn't have bad luck to compare it to?"

Some people are just lucky, my cousin is REALLY LUCKY. Every competition he has entered he won. Competitions like they pick your name out of a bag with like a billion other peoples names and his name will always be the chosen one.
