Are some people more capable of greatness or success overall?

Hi, i was wondering. Are some people "blessed" with genes more capable of success than others? Or is it the ability to conform to the specific, sometimes mundane, goals of our society? For example, those incredibly smart kids on the swim team who can draw pretty well.

I think some people are more driven to succeed big than others. It is obviously a combination of nature and nurture.

Look how Oprah has succeeded against all obstacles. She had a need to do that.

Some people are determined to be very successful.

Everyone is equal. but the medium they use to achieve their success may vary.

It's a little of both.  

Everyone has genes that make up everything from their apperance, to their personality, to intelligence, social skills, etc.  

Now while one person may have better genes than another.. it all comes down to What You Do With It.

Combined that with people who can not just conform to the specific sometimes mundane goals of society.. but they can conform those goals around themselves..

That is what makes someone great or successful.

Stepping a little beyond what they are or can be.

There are many variables involved with ambition and successful enterprise.  Logical, and realistic self appraisal associated with intelligence and a well thought through plan is absolutely necessary for success.
