Are some "feel good" news stories just made up?

For example, the plane needing fuel landing safely next to a sign about Jesus? Do you think stories like this are true? How trustworthy are our news sources?

  1. Likely they are true, this kind of stuff happens all the time. Most of the time it probably goes unnoticed because it's hardly news. Honestly, "news" agencies just use feel-good stories as a filler - and a substitute for important or depressing stories. I can't remember the details of the last bit I saw like this, but I'm sure that I saw one less than twelve hours ago - they are saturating the news, and yet completely forgettable.

  2. News is so unreliable, so we will never know.

  3. All news stories are made up hence American misconceptions, assumptions and conclusions.  Normal American statistic pulled right out of someone's butt!!
