Are some races and/or ethnicities more intelligent than others?

because if this country are more develop than others the people sure will be more intelligent over the undeveloped country ones.

Example:

There are twins living in a province. This twins had the same minds meaning they are both intelligent in their school. The first twin was able to study in a school in the city where there are computers unlike their province. But his other twin was left at their province to help his parents. Who would you think had the more intelligent among them? The first one because he was able to use his intelligence not like the other wherein he's still ignorant to technologies

My experience is like that. I live in a rural area where there are other lot of things should be learned or made but we can't since we don't have high facilities or whatever that can be used.

Living in an ethic diverse city I have noticed yes.  The Jews, and Chinese seem to achieve higher grades as a group than other groups.  I am neither Jewish or Chinese but I have noticed this.  Don't know if this is genetic or upbringing.  Maybe, it's a combination of both.  Kids in private school seem to have a higher GPA than public school.

Everyone on the planet can trace their linage back to a single woman who lived 160,000 years ago.  That means we're all cousins, so, no.  No one "race" is more intelligent than another.

I believe it is up to the individual's genetics personal characteristics and environment to ultimately determine intelligence.  Although here is a question back: Who is more intelligent a street-smart man like Henry Ford or a book-smart man like Albert Einstien?

We are willing to concede that people are different. Western Europeans are tall, Cambodians are short, Scandanavians are fair, Somalis are dark, Kenyans are better long distance runners, chinese cant run even if their life is in danger.

So why cant we accept that a physical organ like the brain is also varied?

Good or bad I dont know but there are ways to measure intelligence.

"Race" and "Ethnicity" are socially constructed terms, meaning there is no scientific basis that there are different races. "Race" was made up so people could separate each other...

And, since it doesn't exist, that would mean that no race is better than any other.

Yes, unpopular though this is.

Ashkenazi (Eastern European) Jews consistently score at about one standard deviation above the white American average, about 112 vs 100. They also produce more Nobel prize winners proportionally than any other ethnic group. I guess you need to be smart to survive persecution.

Next on the list are the Mongoloid East Asians, such as the Japanese and Koreans. They generally score about 7 points higher than the European average of 100 given a similar education and standard of living.

Well I`m white English and content in the knowledge that without all of the other races now in this country we would have enough smart people to start another industrial revolution and if we put our minds to it, recolonise another quarter of the world. However with the leadership we have got we are content to roll over and be s**t on.

The real problem is, how do you measure intelligence?

Consider the WAIS, "Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale" the most common IQ test given.

It has a few built in handicappers.

Today we'll give you an IQ test normed (made, developed) for Japanese...in Japanese.

Two subtests of the WAIS: picture completion and picture arrangement, have you complete a picture and tell a story. Again the pictures are normed to the American culture.

There's also examiner bias. When I gave the WAIS much depended on my relationship with the subject. I was supposed to get their "best effort." If we didn't click as people, or one of us was having an bad day, the final scores suffered.

Years ago, and politically incorrect today, I encountered an IQ test supposedly normed for the inner cities and African Americans. The teaching point was that it required an education and experience that was radically different from my own.

While some tests have been presented as culture neutral and claim to really measure intelligence, none have been fully accepted.

Which means that there's no reliable or valid way to answer your question.

I believe that intelligence hasn't got anything to do with where you're from, what you look like or where you grew up. What makes a person intelligent is their ability to think outside of the box, to ask questions, to wonder, perceive and analyse. I honestly believe that children are the most intelligent beings on Earth. you can't be taught to be intelligent. You either are or you're not.

This is actually a psychological question and Anastasie or whatever Jews would starve to death in the middle of a rain forest if they had to figure out a way to survive.  Intelligence, as psychology has evolved to understand, is subjective not an absolute.

So no, all races ethnicities are just different and are well adapted to the environment that they had to survive in.  Also Eugenics is a bunch of c**p.
