Are sony xplod subs good? do they deliver good hard hitting Bass?

Alright im lookin to upgrade my subs. my dream subs are Orion HCCA subs but that's a lil too pricey now. so im lookin for a substitute. I was lookin an three choices. Pioneer Premier, Sony Xplods(there best ones), or JVC Arsenals. I might just do kickers but out of three which ones are best? thank you

I would say Pioneer are the best in that list, but then again I thing they suck Ba**s!!!...

But tell me what kind of budget you are on, and i'll tell you some "good"brands.

But all in all are the subs you named good?...

the five piont dual sub enclosure with subs sony made in 2007 was probally the best sony ever made. my bro has them and they hit hard. as 4 premier they are over all a better brand then sony but im not sure if they r better then the 2007 model i mentioned. as for the arsenals, iv never heard them but they look like they can do damage. dont get kickkers because every one has them and it wouldnt be unique. i would personaly go with the arsenals

i have a sony xplod sub and it sounds good, for every kind of music

if you power it with a powerful enough amp you should be good to go

First off those that are talking up Sony has probably yet to hear what good sounds like. Sony is nothing more than garbage when it comes to car audio, home audi is another story though. Check into this company, blows Sony out of the water with ease.

Sony makes decent subs as long as you know what you are really getting.  Sony is notorious for grossly giving super inflated power numbers that they can't do.  If you do your research then you will come to your own conclusion and that's the only one that matters.  I would partial to the Pioneer Premiers(not fond of the Pioneer subs you find at Wal-mart) as i have not heard the JVC Arsenal series subs so couldn't give help there.  But you have pretty decent brands you are looking at so just narrow it down.  Kicker is another good one.  i have liked the sound of their subs and have been happy with them.
