The thing Pakistani Patriot is talking about is called &quot;the desert lizard&quot;. They are not the ordinary lizards you have in homes. They are big lizrds! I&#039;ve seen them.....Somewhat the size of a cat!!! The arabs eat that.

There&#039;s even one hadith which narrates that the prophet was served this! He said nothing(didn&#039;t complain) even though he did NOT eat it....meaning even if he disliked having those desert lizards, he did not class them as haram......Back to your question, I have NOOOOOOOOOO idea.....But its a very good question.....I&#039;ll ponder on it and make a research inshallah. By the way, you should know that many frogs are poisonous, and that alligators, caimans, and crocodiles are almost the same thing, except with minor differences in shape and their location in the world....And Allah knows best!
