Question:

Are speeding buses legal?

Yo!

I'm just curious, I was on the bus today and realised that bus drivers (here in the UK) always go wayyyyyy over the speed limit and the cameras are flashing and everything but they never seem to get punished because you see the same culprit bus drivers week in and week out!

Surely, something must be done!

Only emergency vechicle (sp?) should get away with it!

What do you think?

I mean I get scared as h**l when a doubledecker is doing 70mph down the motorway or a bendy-bus is zipping around the roundabout at full speed ^^

  1. speeding is illegal for anyone.

  2. I am a public bus driver in the states and here we have things called "Speed Limits" and anything over that is illegal!!!

You talked about double deckers and 'bendy's'...so I am guessing that you use public transportation and not private school transportation.

I would simply call customer service of the company that speed demon drivers for and file a complaint!
