I highly doubt it. Although a speedo is very comfortable and not too bad to wear if you aren't too self-concious. Still, swimming trunks are more popular for recreational purposes. Speedos are becoming more popular in competition though.

I sure hope not but it might be true.  Last year I went to Costa Rica. We were at San Manuel beach and there were like 50 frikin guys and boys out there in nothin but some speedos. they looked like frikin thongs. That is so gross

Not at all the craze in swimming clubs are jammers lol nd for the public it is board shorts which are way better than speedos

Not many men wear speedos. If you go to the beach on any day you'll probably see 2 or 3 men wearing one. I would love to wear a speedo, but I wouldn't want to be the only one at the beach. So instead of putting myself in an uncomfortable position I wear jammers instead.

Very interesting question...my children have always swam in mid thigh baggy trunks but after sports yesterday requested Speedos....for speed in the water.I was shocked l thought they were long gone!!

I have worn a speedo to the pool and beach most of my life. You get a better tan that way. To the folks whodon't like them, don't look, you prudes.
