If they are real, how come there are many sites in the internet promising to give more prosperity or money to those who are willing to pay for their services. Why not these so called 'witches' perform the spells for their own gain instead.

  1. Of course they are real.  However, true magicians do not need money.  Those are hacks, frauds.  We don't reveal our spells to the world, not for any price.  Each practitioner uses their own discretion in determining whom to use magic for.

  2. I wont lie, a lot of the websites online offering to do spells for you, or sell you charms or amulents are scams, frauds, or just people out to make easy money.  Some are honest witches offering help.

That said, you would be much better off to either do a spell for yourself, or to find a local pagan holistic store. They often have days of the week where you can get tarot readings, healings, talk with witches, and other such events.  Most witches will charge only what it costs for materials for the spell, but do the actual work for free.  That is a kind of... unwritten law, that no witch should charge for spell work, but they can ask for reinbursment for tools needed. This is because doing a spell purely for monitary gain adds negative energy to the working. A spell is always more powerful when the intentions are pure.

I never charge for spells, even for reinbursment for tools needed. Most of the regular people who ask for spell help often make gifts of herbs, oils, or candles, which is a nice thing for them to do, but I certainly don't require it (mostly because I am still just a first degree student, and technically shouldn't even be doing such things) but now I am rambling...

  3. NOT real...this time i'm going against Egypt!!!!

  4. Well that is for profit Witches a true witch don't charge outrageous fees if anything they or at least I just ask for either a donation, reimbursement of materials, or barter for service

  5. Actually I know a lot of witches who perform spells for their own gain.  It's not at all uncommon for most I know to do prosperity, protection, or healing spells for themselves.  Otherwise what's the point of doing magic if you can't even help yourself?  I wouldn't listen to or give money to any internet site offering spells and such for a fee.  Sounds like a scam to me.  I do have friends who do readings or such for donations or trade.

  6. Yes spells, charms and amulets are real, and you don't have to buy anything online.  A Witches tools can be as simple or as elaborate as she/he wants them to be.  If you find a wand online that you like and can afford it, then go for it.  Or if you are out in the woods and find an awesome branch and make it into a wand, then that is just as acceptable.  So it is all up to the individual and what they feel calls to them.  Not only that some Witches may live in areas that do not have occult shops and only have access to shops online.  As for me, I am a Witch and I find my tools either in Nature or in some of the cool New Age shops that are in my town.  The tools are cool but , more importantly it is the intent that is more important.

  7. of corse they are real.

  8. Yes they are, but a lot depends on who is making them, and what their intentions are.

  9. Yes. Many are just fakes that want money, but others want trade because after awhile of just helping urself gain, you feel bored and want to help others, but would just like to get stuff in return. Anyways. the answer to your Question is... Yes some spells, charms, and amulets are real, and the other answer is because those people are greedy and just want money, and the last answer is some do perform for their own gain.

  10. Yes they are real. Sadly there are far too many bloody fluffy charlatans around who take the p**s.

I wouldn't trust anyone asking for an inordinate amount of money for a simple spell pouch or amulet.

  11. yes ,yes and yes but the paid ones are fake .

  12. You have answered your own question. Some people who claim to be witches on the internet have absolutely no reason to tell you the truth. They want to make a sale. I am a practicing witch and have had other witches make for me the things you mention, as well as oils, herbal remedies, etc. They do not charge me per se, but will accept a donation or trade for something. As for personal gain. If you think that would be a reason to study and practice the Craft, you are mistaken. Nearly every witch I know is perfectly content with their life as is. Nothing against money but there really are things that are much more important.

  13. As has been said, ignore anything selling services. Find a real practitioner with reasonable requests for payment, as was pointed out materials do cost. Those practitioners do cast those spells for themselves-the thing is, you can't be thinking a prosperity spell means you wake up a millionaire the next morning. *If* these spells work in any way, it's going to be a lot more subtle and gradual.

  14. They work in proportion to how much the user believes they will work.  If you don't think it'll work, it wont.  If you grasp at it with all your will, and put all your energy into believing it will happen, then it just might.  The same with prayer, the same with pretty much anything in life.  If you believe it, it will happen.  The charm or amulet or whatever is just a focal point for you to channel your energy through.  It's not up to the person who made it, it's up to the person who uses it.

  15. They exist but they don't work. "Witches" usually claim that their magic only works to help others.
