Are spray tans a good idea?

yes they make u look orange and fake. [ a big turn off ] and they don't last that long. maybe 8 to 10 showers

If you want to do a spray on tan your best bet would be to look for a Mystic Tan booth in your area. Mystic tan is used by the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders and I used it for prom because I am always so pale. It didn't make me orange at all. However make sure to use the lotion they give you on your hands and feet or they may get a little too much of the spray and look kinda odd. Also, you can't shower for about 24 hours afterward, so you will smell similar to suntan lotion for about a day. It's also a good idea to do it about a week or so before a big event, if that is the case, so that you have a bit of time to for it to even out. It lasts for a little over 2 weeks typically. Jergens tanning lotion is also good for a gradual tan. It just doesn't have the immediate effects of a spray on tan. Good luck.

No i had one it wasn't good they mest up a whole chunck of my arm which yeah i had people do it for me if you do it it might be better but i would prefer a tanning store.They are much better then the lotion the spray and laying out. Yeah just try a tanning bed if you dont like that just go with the spray.

spray tans are terrible my friend got one and she looked orange 4 a month!!!!

if you only get a few shades lighter then your natural skin tone it shouldnt go orange

unless you go to a tacky place, or buy the really cheapo brand

It depends on the brand and how well it's done, most of the time it makes you look orange.  I tried: Banana Boat: Summer Color Self-Tanning Mist [Airbrush Color] for my legs and it did really well considering it was my first time using self-tanner and it didn't turn out orange.
