Im wondering because its made of a metal and we are drinking tea to rid ourselves of unwanted things. If this could be defeating one of the purposes.....................I really dont consider tea all natural if we are a sticking a staple in it too.

  1. The staple is probably less processed than the bag or the tea. Common food grade staples are made of mild steel, which is iron and carbon.

  2. you need to find a hobby!

  3. Buy loose tea if your worried, its better anyway!

  4. Considering most tea kettles and tea balls for loose tea are also made of metal, I wouldn't worry too much about it.  The metal doesn't steep in the cup long enough for any noticeable metal contamination to occur.

  5. Thanks for asking!  I was just wondering this myself since I've been making so much Iced tea and I let the tea bags sit until I'm done with the whole pitcher.  I would think if it's organic it would be best.  You could also get the bags that are just squares and no strings or staples.  Some are even stringed and stapleless

  6. yes!

  7. they are not safe! - Don't eat them! :-)

  8. yes they are...what harm could it bring you eat thing like iron and thats got for you so metal ON a teabag would not hurt
