Are step cousins "off-limits?"

I am sixteen years old and my aunt just got married a few months back... her new step daughter is completely amazing and the first time we met was about two years ago and i fell in love with her. I dont know if thats wrong or if its okay to like her? she sends me messages as though she likes me too like shes always wrestling, getting physical, and were alone she opens up to me. So i want to know if its ok to tell her how i feel. Please help me out by responding and thanx...

As long as you're not "blood related" in any way w/anyone, there's no harm in dating etc. Go for it & hope things work out well for you. Best to you...:)

No,dont feel as though they are in your case.The two of you dont have the same blood running through your veins.It's not like it's your step sister or something.h**l if it's legal to marry your very own first cousin,which i don't agree with legal or not.You should not feel funny about getting with a step cousin.I once dated my half siblings cousin,no blood cousin of mine so i didn't care & seen nothing wrong with it.The only question to you is,is your family going to have a problem with it?Maybe you should discuss the situation & your feelings with your aunt and your step uncle before you make a decision because if it's going to cause conflick within the family,need to make sure that she's worth it.But if you truly love her & don't care what the family thinks,go 4 it.Some people only get one shot at true love in their life.

Technically, step-cousins aren't off limits. But it isn't a very good idea. Think of this. If you pursue a relationship and it all goes bad, you are likely going to have to see her at every major family gathering for the rest of your life. That might make for some awkward moments.

nothin says lovin like marrin your cousin! If you move out of alabama and get a divorce does that mean you are not cousins any more?
