  1. no, in the Veitinam war they where fighting for two sides, South Veitnam and North Veitnam, but no one won that war, we all just gave up

  2. they unifiled, not south or north now, just Vietnam

  3. no... the dmz line is gone from all the maps.   there is a cultural/ lingual and geodraphic divition between north [ just south of ha noi & the northern "balled" area] , south [ the wide triagle of land that includes sai gon and the mekong] and  the long thin land mass that connects both is "central viet nam"

  4. Yes Vietnam has been unified since 1975.  They have different regions same as most countries.  There are the North, the Central and the South.  Great place to visit, hope you can holiday there someday.  Cheers

  5. it's still vietnam. every country uses north, south etc to identify each area

except for north korea and south korea though

  6. North Korea is run by the communists..South Korea is occupied by the U.S. Army.

As for North and South Vietnam?

Vietnam is all one now. I wouldn't use the word "UNITED" though when you speak of Vietnam as a country even though it has a North, Central and South area.

I would phrase it as "The communists from North Vietnam invaded the South Area..and took over. Ho Chi Minh (communist leader) died and vietnam has been a "communist" country since his take over.

They're not unified since Vietnam fell to the bloody hands of communism April 30th 1975.

  7. where have you been for the last 30 years?
